Job Description

Now Hiring: Full-Time Special Education Teacher (LBS1 Required)

Location: Illinois Early Childhood ProgramAcademic Year

Our Organization is hiring a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher with an LBS1 endorsement to support early learners in an inclusive school setting. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by guiding students with diverse needs toward their academic and developmental goals.

In this role you ll tailor instructional strategies and classroom resources to meet the diverse learning needs of your students. You ll monitor academic and developmental progress adjusting your teaching methods to support continuous growth. Strong collaboration is key you ll work closely with families and school teams to maintain clear communication and align on shared goals. You ll also participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed on the latest innovations in special education. By partnering with fellow educators support staff and administrators you ll help build a cohesive support system for students. At the core of your work will be the delivery of individualized goal-driven instruction that aligns with each student s IEP and supports their unique strengths and challenges.

Requirements

Prior experience working with diverse learners and developing IEPs.
Demonstrated experience in an academic setting preferably in special education.
Bachelor s degree (Master s degree preferred) from an accredited college or university.
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement (required; no alternative certifications accepted).
