Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage real estate and corporate litigation including commercial lease disputes construction claims zoning matters and shareholder conflicts
Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions regulatory matters and corporate governance
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys through all phases of litigation and transactional support
Oversee discovery motion practice trial preparation and appeals
Drive business development and cross-practice collaboration within the firm
Ensure exceptional service standards ethical practice and client satisfaction
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar
10 years of legal experience in real estate and corporate litigation
Experience in business transactions and commercial real estate required
Proven success in client development and retention
Excellent litigation negotiation and advocacy skills
Portable book of business preferred (minimum $500K ideal; flexibility based on profile)
Must be local to New Hyde Park NY
