Job Description

1300Smiles Strathpine is currently on the lookout for an experienced administrator or receptionist to join the team as an Admin Coordinator.

We are a high-performing team of professionals who take great pride in the services and care we provide our patients. 

As an Admin Coordinator you are responsible for overseeing the administrative operations within a clinical setting. This role involves managing office functions supporting clinical staff coordinating patient services and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Admin Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and delivering high-quality patient care. 

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Therefore we require an experienced admin/receptionist ideally with experience working within the healthcare industry. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily administrative operations of the practice.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and clinical staff to address patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Oversee patient billing and insurance processing ensuring compliance with payer requirements.
  • Implement patient satisfaction initiatives and handle patient complaints or issues.
  • Coordinate and manage office supplies equipment and facility maintenance.

Qualifications :

  • Previous administration and/or receptionist experience is a must ideally within the dental or medical industry. 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using computer software applications.
  • Experience with file keeping and data entry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
