This position is responsible for free securities movement for the Trust Department including but not limited to accounts transferring in and out and securities gifting to include managing cost basis updates from inside and outside of the trust department. Will work closely with others within department and outside firms to ensure complete and accurate transfers. Also responsible for vault related duties system purging and various balancing and reconciliation reports.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for completing Asset Transfers & Values including account transfers gifting cost basis research and updating as needed.
  • Will assist with registration control and audit of physical trust assets.
  • Will process corporate actions.
  • Will be responsible for completing check processing table maintenance coverage and online enrollments.
  • Will be responsible for balancing and reporting including monthly reconciliations pension court accounting and other specialized reports.
  • Will assist with department tasks including monthly income positing cross training procedure updating and database work.
  • Will perform special projects as assigned.

Education Experience and Job Skills

  • Associates degree in business or 1-3 years of prior experience in Financial Services or Accounting industry; Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to manage time organize priorities and multitask with daily interruptions.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adjust priorities based upon changing needs and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel Access skills a plus.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Business or 1-3 years of prior experience in Financial Services or Accounting industry
