We are hiring for a Test Repair Technician to perform pre-test and final test of EP units. This position is located in our Miramar FL MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) facility.

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in CORE continuous improvement initiatives and environmental health and safety activities.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints diagrams and work instructions to test electrical power units ensuring all product specifications and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Perform functional and electrical testing using multimeters and other test equipment; monitor tests record data and document results for acceptance or rejection.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools machine tools electronic/manual test equipment and mechanical measuring devices; load and unload equipment in test beds as required.
  • Collaborate with supervision support personnel and other teams to resolve issues meet production schedules and achieve team goals.
  • Utilize computer systems such as SAP and Access to enter retrieve and manage information for daily activities.
  • Demonstrate safe work habits maintain a neat and orderly work area and interface with customers engineers or auditors as necessary.
  • In this position you are required to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • 2nd Shift position: 3pm to 11:30pm Mon to Fri
  • Will train on 1st Shift for roughly 90 days: 7am to 3:30pm Mon to Fri

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • 1-2 years of work experience in the aerospace industry

  • A&P license

  • Experience working with aircraft hydraulics/fuel systems preferably within a FAA Part 145 MRO environment.
