Purpose of the Role
As a Software Engineer you will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Youll work closely with product managers designers and fellow engineers to build scalable maintainable applications that deliver a seamless user experience.
Your expertise in Python TypeScript and modern frameworks will help shape robust cloud-based architectures while adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile best practices. By focusing on clean code automation and continuous improvement youll contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Design
Develop and maintain applications using Python (FastAPI Pydantic Pandas) and TypeScript/JavaScript (React ).
Write clean modular and testable code following TDD/BDD principles.
Contribute to scalable cloud architectures with a focus on performance and reusability.
Debug and optimize existing systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
Collaboration & Agile Practices
Partner with Product Managers and Designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in BDD scenario creation to align development with business goals.
Engage in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives) to deliver iterative value.
Collaborate in code reviews to maintain high standards and share knowledge.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Implement a multi-layered testing strategy (unit integration system manual).
Conduct manual testing to validate user experience and functionality.
Identify and resolve defects to ensure robust high-quality software.
DevOps & CI/CD
Apply DevSecOps practices to streamline development workflows.
Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
Required Competencies
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Python (FastAPI Pydantic) and TypeScript/JavaScript (React ).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of database design (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling.
Familiarity with TDD BDD and automated testing frameworks.
Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions Jenkins).
