Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree or equivalent course work in sociology or a closely related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Sociology. Area of specialization is open and will depend on department the candidate will have expertise in quantitative methods including survey research and statistics. Experience with recent innovations in data collection and analysis is preferred (e.g. AI use data scraping). A background in R would be preferred but proficiency in Stata or SPSS would be acceptable. Evidence of strong teaching ability is desirable.
