- operates machinery to mix and granulate powdered ingredients preparing them for tablet production.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment monitor machine performance and maintain records of production data.
- Key tasks include weighing and measuring ingredients operating mixing machines and potentially drying or screening the granules.
- starting and stopping the equipment adjusting settings and ensuring the machines operate safely and efficiently.
- Mixing ingredients and adding binding agents to create granules of the desired size and consistency.
- Drying the granules to the appropriate moisture level and screening them to ensure the correct size range
- May assist in troubleshooting process issues and reporting them to supervisors.
