The Energy Markets & Corporate Digital Systems Department is responsible for implementing and supporting various business applications for internal and external stakeholders.

About the role
The Applications Developer plays a key role in delivering innovative business solutions using the Microsoft ecosystem including Dynamics 365 Power Apps Power Automate and Power BI. The position requires a strong focus on customizing and configuring solutions ensuring their reliability scalability and alignment with cybersecurity requirements. The role collaborates with business stakeholders technical teams and external vendors to develop and maintain effective solutions that drive business efficiency and improve user experience.

What you will be doing

• Design develop and implement solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools.
• Build custom Power Apps Power Automate workflows and Power BI dashboards tailored to business needs.
• Provide ongoing support troubleshooting and maintenance of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
• Support and enforce Power Platform governance policies.
• Work closely with IT teams third-party vendors and end-users to deliver and optimize solutions.

What you will bring to the role

Education/ Certificates

Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.

Experience and Knowledge

• Proven experience in developing solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Proficiency in Power Apps Power Automate and Power BI.
• Understanding of integration methodologies and tools including APIs.
• Strong knowledge of database design and management.
• Experience working within agile development environments.

Desirable Experience and Knowledge

• Familiarity with Azure API development and integration.
• Proficiency in C# for development within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Azure services and cloud platforms.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
• Previous exposure to SharePoint HRIS and financial systems.
