Job Description
Program Statement:
Lake Countys employment & training service is available for youth who are ages 14 24 and meet the eligibility and enrollment requirements through the Lake County Department of Job & Family Services. Participants receive job readiness and job placement services. Each participant is eligible to participate a Work Experience up to 240 hours. Youth in the program receive job coaching from program staff along with life skills training.
What you will do:
- Seek employment opportunities for hard-to-place clients. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with businesses.
- Develop plans for job development job placement and job retention for participants.
- Identify and locate jobs in the community that match the individuals skills interests and experience.
- May instruct clients on job readiness skills including resume writing interviewing and job search strategies.
