Die Cutter
Rate: $15-17/hr
Hours: 5am-3:30pm

Operation of Die Cutter which converts rolls or sheets of paperboard (caliper from .016 to .040) to die-cut sheets of various sizes.
Die cut sheets are subsequently converted to folding cartons or paperboard air filter frames. Reports to plant manager.
Responsibilities:
- Correctly setup a job: identify and load correct die wood and spot sheet; set correct sheet length; load new roll.
- Run press speed capable for job
- Recognize any problems with press correct minor problems and notify supervisor of more significant problems.
- Monitor quality and engage with quality assurance to maintain high-quality output.
- Able to maintain press
- Be safety conscious
- Perform any other duties when directed
- Able to identify different kinds of stock
- Follows all required safety procedures such as: PPEs Ergonomics Chemical Hazards etc. Performs job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.
- Record daily production and other activities
- Ensure work order paperwork is received and returned for each job
Qualifications and Skills:
- Able to work alone and able to get along with other people
- Attention to detail high standard of quality
- Able to work overtime when needed
- Able to lift 70 lbs.
- Accept constructive criticism and changes
- Mechanical abilities / aptitude
