Overview

Monitor Tech

This is a Full Time Day role.

As our Monitor Tech at The Woodlands Hospital youll play a key role in patient care by helping our cardiac teams monitor heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors.

Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help people. You have a keen eye for detail and you understand that your job is critical to saving lives.

The Woodlands Hospital is a 245 bed non-profit facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around The Woodlands Texas. We are part of CommonSpirit Health which operates 139 hospitals and more than 1000 care sites across 21 states making our services accessible to nearly 1 in 4 U.S. residents.

Responsibilities

  • Verifying daily telemetry charges
  • Labeling strips
  • Set up and calibrate and maintain settings and alarms on telemetry module

Qualifications

To thrive in this role you must have:

  • HS diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of experience as amonitor tech EMT or paramedic

Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Pass the Basic Dysrhythmia Rhythm Interpretation Exam
  • Successfully complete the Basic Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course (if applicable)
