JHCP is looking for aMedical Assistant (CMA)to provide high quality care to patients at our Hear Care practices inBethesda MD.You will have the opportunity to providecare to every patient at every touch point. The Medical Assistant administers medications and immunizations obtains vital signs maintains inventory of appropriate supplies ensures safe and efficient patient flow tracks high-risk referrals lab tests organizes practice environment to assure patient safety and quality outcomes and contributes to HEDIS and designated quality measures.
Location:6410 Rockledge Drive Ste 200 Bethesda MD 20817 (Position will require travel to practices in Washington D.C. Bethesda Maryland and Columbia Maryland)
Shift:Non-Exempt - Full-time 40 hours per week
Waht Youll Need to be Successful:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Medical Assistant required successful completion of the AAMA RMA/AMT NCRMA (NAHP) NCMA(NCCT) RCMAS(NCMA) or CCMA(NHA). Medical Assistant Certification exam within 3 months of hire. A valid CPR certification required upon hire and recertification required every two years.
- Two years experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.
Salary Range: Minimum17.82per hour - Maximum29.43per will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
