Position: Hardware Engineer Intern

Overall Requirements:
Our Engineering Department is looking for a high-energy engineering intern with a solid understanding of electronics. If you have a talent for thinking out of the box and creativity when it comes to solving problems that seem to have no solution we are looking for you.
Responsibilities:
- Work with mentor to
Troubleshooting of basic to complex electronics engaging in advanced problem-solving with limited to no documentation available.
Develop new improve existing and evaluate diagnostic and repair methods and test procedures suitable for a wide range of legacy and new electronic products
Reverse-engineer medium to complex electronic boards modules and systems with the goal of developing improved test capability
Use of lab test equipment while performing advanced electronic measurements
Configuration of complex telecom systems
Automate tests and diagnostic processes
Research and Identify solutions for component obsolescence
Help facilitate production capabilities and processes
Education & Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant engineering discipline preferably with past intern/coop experience in a similar area
Additional Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design
Ability to understand and interpret schematic drawings diagrams
Strong technical documentation skills
Ability to use a variety of lab equipment
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
