cFocus Software seeks a Sr. Geospatial Trainer/Outreach to join our program supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This position is on-site in Springfield VA. This position requires a Public Trust Clearance Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in GIS Geography Cartography Computer Science or other related fields
At a minimum take the following DHS or comparable training courses: Section 508 What it is and Why it is Important and Section 508 Standards for the Web.
10 years of Geospatial Training experience
10 years of experience creating Geospatial Trainings classes etc.
10 years of experience working with ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Enterprise ArcGIS Online Camtasia Python Scripting and Drupal
Duties:
Ability to apply advanced outreach expertise to develop design and deliver presentations briefings and geospatial products for training and demonstration purposes.
Ability to perform customer outreach by answering questions troubleshooting technical problems performing research and communicating geospatial information as requested.
Performing tasks similar in size scope and complexity on a previous government project.
Ensuring all outreach collaboration outlined in automated management systems adhere to the timing attention and communication standards set forth by such management systems.
Provides guidance and work leadership to junior staff.
Demonstrated experience with GIS systems analysis or training.
Provide strategic communication and administrative support services.
Align the communications strategy with high-level GMO messaging objectives.
Ensure the communications strategy is responsive to user needs.
Create improve or maintain templates to reflect a consistent style and GMO brand and may include Email Word PPT and web pages.
Provide clear and consistent messaging with an appropriate level of information to the various stakeholder groups through a variety of mechanisms that include but are not limited to: Email or broadcast messaging Outgoing (Sending) Incoming (Receiving) Website Presentations and Videos
Create and test accessible digital content to ensure briefings presentations and education and training materials are compliant with requirements such as Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and graphic design and web publishing guidance.
Comply with current relevant guidance from the DHS Accessibility and Language Services office and other federal offices.
