Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and driven Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and lead process improvements. This role is responsible for managing the monthly closing process financial reporting budgeting and forecasting as well as supporting inventory control and departmental goals. The ideal candidate excels in communication organization and leadership with a strong ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly close and ensure timely accurate financial reporting.
- Lead process improvements across accounting operations.
- Support physical inventories inventory grading and reduction of excess and obsolete inventory.
- Prepare and review financial analyses and special reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives.
- Manage Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting functions.
- Provide training coaching and support to accounting staff.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Bachelors degree in accounting.
- Masters degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
- 46 years of accounting experience preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership accountability and decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
