Typical functions of a Home Care C.N.A. include: Follow specific written and verbal instructions regarding client care duties following client care plan. Immediately report and record changes in client condition family situation or needs to Supervisor. Provide laundry services and light housekeeping. Assist with preparation or pick-up of meals. Monitor diet and nutritional status. Provide assistance with eating grooming dressing mobility (walking) toileting and incontinence care and with transferring. Provide assistance with communication and correspondence by phone or mail. Provide assistance with maintaining schedule and calendar. Escort for appointments on and off campus. Provide assistance with hobbies and interests. Perform other related duties as directed by Home Care Services Nurse Supervisor. The successful candidate must be in good standing on NC Nurse Aide Registry will have a high school diploma GED equivalent or specialized training and must exhibit a positive attitude and commitment to quality client care.
