You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe ARCHES team is looking for a Training and Compliance Coordinator to join their team! The Training and Compliance Coordinator works for the ARCHES Project Long-Term Rental Assistance (LTRA) program which serves an estimated 100 households receiving assistance. This position will develop and administer trainings to community groups and organizations in an attempt to increase building capacity for LTRA recipients. They will also offer technical assistant to small and culturally diverse groups in the program service area. This is a grant-funded position located at the ARCHES Project and is renewable based on the continuation of project funding.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school Diploma or GED.
Two years of related social service experience.
Experience working with contracts is required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
Driver qualifications are required for this position. Valid driver license insured vehicle available for use on the job and a satisfactory drive record for the previous three years are required
Candidate must pass a comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.
Basic Life Support/First Aid Certification is required within first 30 days of hire.
Candidate must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITES
Basic proficiencies in computers and MS Office products database software and web tools.
Must possess excellent planning organization and time management skills.
Ability to interact and network with groups of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
Provides training for community groups regarding the LTRA program and building program capacity.
Develops training geared toward various small and culturally-specific organizations in order to educate on LTRA procedures and regulations.
Gives technical support as requested to groups and program participants.
Organizes and reports program outcomes for Agency and community use.
Maintains up-to-date information on LTRA regulations client rights and responsibilities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory duties in this position.

Occasional driving in all weather conditions to sites in Polk and Marion Counties.
Maintains calm disposition when clients or others may become escalated.
Regulates emotions and handles pressures of frequent demands for attention time and work tasks.
Regulates emotions during interactions with escalated clients and staff.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly works indoor and outdoor in cold weather heat and other extreme climate events.
Close quarters often with a public client population experiencing homelessness substance use disorders and/or severe and persistent mental illness and/or unpredictable behavior.
Frequent interruptions and demands; frequent noise.
Ability to work outside of normal business hours including nights weekends and holidays.
