Position Description:We are currently hiring a forecasting consultant for our Decision Science practice who has expertise in Patient/Epidemiology-based forecasting within Biopharma/Oncology.
Required Skills/Experience
- 2 years of experience in forecasting and commercial analytics to address complex business challenges in the biopharma industry.
- Develop and manage both long-range and short-term forecasts including pipeline and Business Development & Licensing (BD&L) models.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of demand-based forecasting models (e.g. prescription- or unit-based).
- Independently build patient models based on prevalence or incidence utilizing data from public sources literature reviews primary market research and secondary datasets.
- Conduct in-depth secondary research analysis and manage forecasting models and associated operations.
- Proficient in Excel and VBA with programming experience in at least one language to handle and synthesize large datasets effectively.
- Familiarity with key industry datasets including IQVIA (Xponent NPA NSP 867) and claims data is essential.
- Lead the development of client deliverables including presentations insights and strategic recommendations.
- Stay current with the latest data science methodologies and industry best practices continuously enhancing your skillset.
