The MSP Data Protection Office (DPO) mission is to support Delivery Excellence for PwC Managed Services with a holistic strategy for data protection governance risk and compliance and a successful Client Experience in coordination with specialists from across the Engagement Data Protection (EDP) Program is integral to the Managed Services Performance Improvement Teams (PIT) review of engagement delivery excellence and contributes the EDP Lens operational risk ratings in key focus areas for data protection. The EDP specialist team performs onboarding and ongoing comparative profiling of our engagements to their expected Offering Data Protection profiles and provides visibility at the platform level to the effectiveness of data protection controls applied throughout the lifecycle of our engagements. Roll-up views of EDP focus area health across Managed Services engagements provide leadership visibility to data-driven recommendations for performance improvement. EDP is considered business critical to the success of the platform and has strong leadership support.

EDP Associate are the central workforce that manage our EDP focus area health assessment processes including EDP profiling and deviation reviews. As an EDP Associate you will have the opportunity to dive deeply into the operational risk-control context and learn how PwC safeguards engagement data made accessible to our delivery teams. EDP Associate job duties will include:

Manage an assigned portfolio of Managed Services engagements that are in scope for Engagement Data Protection (EDP) review. Responsibilities include tracking onboarding of all new engagements in the MSP pipeline initiation of and recordkeeping for EDP profiles and deviation reviews updating procedural documentation and templates and calendaring and participating in calls.

Quality control and complete EDP onboarding on-cycle and ad hoc profiles including focus area operational due diligence to be analyzed in periodic (90-day) EDP reviews through the duration of the engagement.

Quality control and complete EDP reviews identifying anomalous conditions between operational due diligence and PwC policy requirements and develop and assign standardized EDP-deviations and actions recommendations for delivery teams.

Participate in EDP deviation frequency and root cause analyses proposing solutions to highlight in PIT Loop reporting.

Contribute ideas for improvements to the EDP program and delivery team solutions to support the EDP mission.

Required EDP Associate KSEs:

• For India AC candidates minimum 3 -5 years of experience at PwC

• Demonstrated interest in developing subject matter specialist knowledge in U.S. data protection risk-controls and proprietary solutions.

• Familiarity with information security industry standards and data protection risk-control frameworks including administrative physical and technical (detective and preventive) controls.

• Familiarity with data protection concepts personal and non-personal data protection and security concerns (confidentiality integrity and availability).

• Project management and information organization Microsoft Office suite (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook Teams) and SharePoint lists presentation skills active listening and coaching presence continuous learner process and innovation mindset.

Qualifications:

• Information Security certification or legal training preferred but not required

• Language proficiency in English (native speaker or equivalent) preferred.

• A continuous learner mindset with a focus on process improvement and innovation.

• Writing and Documentation Skills:

• Proven ability to draft clear concise and well-structured reports and documentation.

• Experience in preparing comprehensive written communications including policies procedures and training materials.

• Demonstration of ability to follow written SOPs and document the required outcomes.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.

• Ability to tailor communications to suit different audiences including technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Interpersonal and Spoken Interaction Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.

• Proficiency in conducting meetings and facilitating discussions ensuring clarity and consensus on key issues.

• Familiarity with AI/ML Tools:

• Use of Microsoft CoPilot ChatGPT etc.

• Reporting and Analysis:

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret data and generate insights for business leaders.

• Experience in preparing and presenting reports that inform strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with professional services contracting including master services and engagement level agreements and engagement approval processes.

• Presentation and Public Speaking:

• Experience preparing presentations to diverse audiences including senior management and business leaders.

• Skilled in using visual aids and presentation software to enhance message delivery and audience engagement.

• For example: use of M365 applications preferred (i.e. Word PowerPoint Excel SharePoint PowerBI etc.)
