As one of five Customer Training Developers youll design and develop digital training materials that meet defined learning outcomes and align with adult learning theory such as Kolbs Learning Cycle. Youll work collaboratively with stakeholders manage content lifecycles and use feedback to continuously improve our training offer. The role is output-focused requiring adaptability strong communication and a clear understanding of customer needs.

Full Job Description

Summary

Create design and develop customer training content across multiple formats to effectively support delivery of the customer training programme(s). Role model AQAs behaviours and values actively contributing to the success of the business and taking responsibility for personal development and role sits as part of the wider Customer Training Development team that work alongside Customer Training Coordinators and reports into Customer Training Leads/managers. However we operate a matrix management function so you may have dotted line reporting with other we progress our customer training offering a knowledge of adult learning design theory will be beneficial. E.g Competency cycle & Kolbs Learning cycleThis is an output focussed role so flexibility in inputs and collaborative working is often required to achieve the overall objective

This role has no line management :Working knowledge of project management and associated documentation
Designing and development of a variety of online training material that meets defined objectives
Strong stakeholder management with the ability to deal with internal and external customers professionally both verbally and in writing
Develop generic briefing documents (provided by the Lead Customer Training Developer) to include details that are relevant for a specific product or theme whilst ensuring that identified learning outcomes are met with all design principles adhered to
Monitor the success of training content through customer and internal feedback to continuously learn and improve our offering; undertake personal skills development to learn from external best practice and developments.
Ability to deliver to established plans and escalate risks/issues that may impact on operational delivery
Ability to adapt to and learn new software quickly and use more advanced features to support operational delivery.
Carry out trainer quality assurance and/or compliance activity as required.
Maintain lifecycle of training content following content management process ensuring content is viable (within copyright within customer needs timeline links maintained and quality standards met)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organisational skills the ability to deliver multiple activities to time and budget
Prioritisation skills the ability to manage multiple demands and make judgements
Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of effective systems and processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Customer focused delivers the best outcome from the customer perspective.
Ensures AQA is safe and legally compliant by applying AQAs policies and other legislative requirements including but not limited to HSE Equality GDPR and ISMS
To be successful in this role you will need to know/be:Confident in balancing learner/departmental and organisational needs
Be results focussed: Be self-driven and make pragmatic decisions to ensure we can deliver quality at pace
Confident in working within an established team and practices while bringing a continuous improvement mindset
Customer first focus: Challenging any practice which does not have our learners at the heart of the decision
