Senior Staff Nurse
Barts Hospital Outpatients Permanent Full time Includes weekend work
Competitive Salary depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Senior StaffNurse at our Barts Hospitalyoure registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience including NMC. As well as post-registration experience you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment and management.
As a Senior StaffNurseyou will:
- Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring
- Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues mentoring them to be the best they can be
- Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patients needs
- Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care
- Provide day-to-day supervision including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students
- Contribute to scheduling and rotas recruitment induction performance reviews and training

Nuffield Health Barts Hospital
Nuffield Health at St Bartholomews Hospital: The City of Londons only independent hospital situated next to St Bartholomews NHS hospital is now open. This is our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services including: orthopaedics oncology general surgery gynaecology and urology services.
The new hospital will consist of:
- 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
- 28 consultation rooms
- Three digital operating theatres
- Cardiac catheterisation lab
- Specialist intensive care beds
- Oncology day unit
- Endoscopy and minor ops theatre
- Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI CT ultrasound mammography and general X-ray
