The Role
As an Assistant Front Office Manager youll play a vital role in supporting the team working closely with the Front Office Manager to inspire and motivate your colleagues while ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. Get ready for a dynamic position where youll oversee Front Office operations making sure guests needs are met every step of the way from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead guide and support the team providing training coaching and ensuring adherence to hotel policies and high service standards.
- Act as the first point of contact for guest enquiries concerns and complaints delivering prompt professional solutions and supporting the Front Office Manager in handling complex issues.
- Oversee smooth check-in/check-out processes assist with billing and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Ensure compliance with safety security and privacy protocols while responding effectively to emergencies and maintaining accurate logs of incidents and daily activities.
- Conduct regular service quality checks uphold brand standards and maintain clear communication across departments and management.
- Fulfil Duty Manager shifts on a rota basis.
What were looking for:
- Previous Hotel Reception and Supervisory experience including leading and developing a team.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Opera Cloud and knowledge of security and safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work night shifts weekends and public holidays.
- Strong attention to detail organisational skills and a professional demeanour.
