Job Description
Your Tasks
- User-centric reporting library development and maintenance
- Data product cataloging and management to ensure they are easy to find and interpret for business users
- Key performance indicator (KPI) definition and tracking for data products
- Data product usage monitoring for trend identification and lifecycle management
- Collaboration with data consumers from operational data analysts to executive management to continuously enhance reporting library functionalities
- Close coordination with corporate data model product owner for data quality security and compliance assurance through rigorous data standards from source to KPIs
Your Profile
- Technical background (computer science mathematics or related) completed by strong business acumen or a background linked to business administration completed with a proven interest and upskilling in subjects like (cloud-) data systems analytics tools or BI
- Proven professional experience in data management business intelligence or a related field
- Strong understanding of data cataloging and KPI tracking
- Expertise in the UI/UX design of applications or user interfaces
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to translate technical complexities into business terms
- Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects
- Sophisticated understanding of retail business models and processes desirable
- German and English communication confidence and proficiency both with specialist departments and agile team
- Experience in BI Tooling (Tableau Looker) and data catalogs (e.g. DataHub) are a strong plus
About Us
Group Data & Analytics is a unit with group-wide mandate steering and leading Data & Analytics related topics from a business perspective. In this capacity the unit is the business owner of the newly established Value Stream Data closely working with the Product Teams co-staffed from business and tech whenever the production or consumption of data for analytical purposes is concerned.
The searched role Product Owner Reporting Library (m/f/d) will be accountable for creating a comprehensive library of reports and business-aligned data products across business units and countries. This library will help to leverage efficiencies in our federated BI landscape and harmonize our reporting towards common standards and KPIs while maintaining federal ownership of the reports themselves.
