Job Description
The Department of English ( invites applications for part-time instructors to teach introductory and general education courses in literature and creative writing. All areas of specialization are welcome especially African-American literature Asian-American literature and prose fiction writing.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a masters degree in English or a closely related field.
- A PhD or ABD in English is preferred for literature courses.
- Creative writing courses require a masters degree or equivalent professional experience; a PhD or MFA is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience is highly desired.
