What future Site Manager roles might involve:

As a Site Manager in our Rail division youll work closely with Contracts Managers to coordinate and deliver vegetation management and structural clearance works. Youll play a vital role in safety compliance and the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects.

Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinating multiple sites and supporting field teams with on-site and admin tasks
  • Using Word and Excel to produce documentation (task briefs trackers audit logs)
  • Planning access schedules and resourcing for planned works
  • Conducting site audits inspections and maintaining safety compliance
  • Supporting accurate scoping pricing and reporting for works
  • Liaising with clients and internal teams to keep projects moving

What well be looking for:

  • Proven experience in Rail with valid PTS and COSS certifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A confident self-starter with a focus on safety and compliance
  • Ability to work collaboratively across site and office teams

Bonus points if you have:

  • SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH
  • First Aid at Work
  • FWC certification
  • Knowledge of arboriculture or vegetation management (or interest in learning!)
