Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a BI Report Developer (ETL and Tableau) to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining insightful BI reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and ensure the availability of accurate and timely data.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain interactive and easy-to-understand BI reports and dashboards using BI tools (Sigma Computing/Snowflake).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Assist in analyzing data to identify trends anomalies and actionable insights to support business strategies.
- Implement data visualization best practices to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure dashboards and reports function as intended.
- Monitor and optimize report performance for improved efficiency.
- Provide training and support to end users on how to utilize BI tools and reports effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or equivalent job experience.
- 1-3 years minimum experience as a BI Report Developer or in a similar role.
- 1-3 years minimum experience using BI tools such as Sigma Computing Tableau Power BI or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications Of The Business Intelligence Report Developer:
- 1 3-year minimum experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation (a plus).
- Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g. Snowflake AWS Azure).
- Understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
