Job Description
Position: Fabric QC Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fabric QC Manager to establish and lead our quality control processes from scratch. The ideal candidate will develop and implement quality systems ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and manage supplier and internal quality across the fabric supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Establish Quality Systems: Devise and implement quality procedures standards and specifications from the ground up.
Supplier Quality: Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure supplier compliance with quality requirements.
Fabric QC Setup: Build and lead a dedicated Fabric QC team set up control mechanisms and establish documentation protocols.
Customer Requirements: Analyze and align quality standards with customer expectations and industry best practices.
Product Testing & Validation: Define fabric specifications and quality attributes; validate through sampling and process qualification.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report quality metrics; generate analytical reports using quality tools.
Fabric Inspection: Oversee fabric checking using the 4-point system and manage dispatch approvals.
Corrective Action & Compliance: Document failures corrective actions recalls and re-validation activities.
ISO Compliance & Audits: Ensure alignment with ISO 9001 standards and manage QA/QC audit readiness.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements across the quality lifecycle.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering or related field
7 years of experience in textile/fabric quality management
Hands-on knowledge of fabric inspection systems including 4-point checks
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems
Ability to build and lead cross-functional QC teams
Proficient in statistical analysis and quality tools
