Essential Functions:
- Drive all aspects of major subcontract execution (cost schedule technical quality) and full integration of the subcontract work scope within the program e.g. proposals negotiations contract execution etc.
- Subject Matter Expert with advanced knowledge of contract types (i.e. FFP Cost Reimbursement T&M CPFF CPIF etc.) government proposals and Basis of Estimate (BOE).
- Subject Matter Expert with advanced negotiation skills subcontractor management and program risk management experience.
- Subject Matter Expert with advanced ability to review technical SOWs understand work scope and hold other functions accountable to provide clarity and eliminate ambiguity in SOW language and technical requirements.
- Subject Matter Expert with advanced knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements Prime Contract flow downs International Trade Compliance ITAR EAR Import/Export General Provisions Terms and Conditions policies and procedures command media requirements negotiations of legal documents and supply chain strategies to improve KPIs and ROIs.
- Expert at problem solving by leveraging experience and through analysis of data
- Expert understanding of Subcontracts relationship with other functions such as Contracts Program Management Finance Engineering Quality Business Development and others.
- Accountable to Program Manager Business Development Supply Chain Leadership and Operations
- Responsible to analyze diverse set of issues and challenging development program(s) changes and communicate effectively to Program(s) and Supply Chain Executive Leadership
- Work closely with SCMs Program Management and Technical personnel to support/manage high-dollar value proposals and subcontracts
- Experience with Intellectual Property (IP) and Patent requirements
- Able to work directly with Technical Team(s) to identify processes requirements Statement of Works improvements and propose changes to include Supply Chain risk mitigation strategies with possible cost savings/avoidance
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally if needed.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
MUST HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF FAR/DFAR
