Job Description
General Summary
Under general supervision responsible for increasing specialty referrals and business. Initiate new business opportunities by serving as a liaison between the pharmacy and the clinics/hospitals. Schedules regular meetings with referral sources to enhance the relationships and maximize the referrals. Assist in monitoring trends with referrals to look for opportunities to expand the business.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

- Identifying and analyzing future growth opportunities.
- Coordinating with clinics and hospitals to drive in new specialty disease states and referrals
- Serving as a liaison between pharmacy and the clinics/hospitals.
- Assists in developing business plans for new services offered by the pharmacy department.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree required preferred concentration in business communication sales or medical related field
- 4 or more years of experience in fundraising or operations in higher education healthcare or non-profit setting required. PREFER: health care or sales background.
- Pharmacy or medical background or experience preferred
- Personal computer literate with experience in utilizing Word Power Point and Excel
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Able to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently; exceptional organization skills
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills including editing skills are expected.
- Ability to review data and determine trends. Ability to assist in developing action based on data.
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with patients physicians health system officials other health system personnel vendors and the general public is essential.
- Ability to collect and analyze data and prepare reports and graphic presentations.

Compensation:
