Job Description
*Utilize competency-based education when planning and teaching lessons to help students pass the HiSET Exam. *Will be required to use PowerSchool and Canvas for all using a CBE grading system. *Will use the project-based learning philosophy and instructors will adapt methods based on students strengths and weaknesses *Are expected to emphasize skills that will help students find jobs. *Help students develop study skills *Connect students to other resources in their community *All courses are aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards these are embedded into all courses so that students can earn a high school diploma and be prepared to enter a career. Some courses are designed to be training courses that will lead to a certification upon completion. In addition to teaching these subjects teachers also help students improve their skills in communicating critical thinking and problem-solving skills they will need in preparing to further education and successful careers.
