Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Planning Manager to lead and oversee the planning and scheduling of large-scale hospitality construction projects in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of project planning methodologies hospitality sector standards and a proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules (WBS timelines milestones) using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders (design procurement construction) to ensure timely planning coordination and .
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management through dashboards and reports.
- Perform critical path analysis schedule risk assessments and identify potential delays with mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with cost control teams to align schedules with budget forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with hospitality brand standards building codes and client requirements.
- Manage planning teams and mentor junior planners across multiple projects.
- Liaise with contractors consultants and vendors to track deliverables and resolve planning issues.
- Participate in client meetings reviews and approvals related to planning functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field (Master s preferred).
- 12 years of experience in project planning within the construction industry with a minimum of 5 years in hospitality projects (hotels resorts luxury developments etc..
- Strong command of Primavera P6 MS Project and project control tools.
- Solid understanding of construction methods sequencing and local regulations.
- Excellent communication leadership and team management skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Preferred Experience:
- Projects involving 4-star or 5-star hotels resorts or high-end hospitality spaces.
- Working with reputed hospitality brands or real estate developers in India.
- Experience managing planning on both EPC and turnkey projects.
