Role Overview:
As a Sales Planning & Performance Manager this role combines strategic planning with distributor and field force performance management responsibilities. The position involves analyzing business performance managing distributor and field force KPIs preparing insightful reports for top management and enhancing DB profitability through strategic and cost optimization initiatives. The role also contributes to the business by developing various system improvements and field force incentive schemes and sharing performance-related reports and analyses. The role will ensure that management gets a 360-degree view of the overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy and cost optimization to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Generate ROI reports and other financial analyses to assess business performance.
- Analyze business opportunities and prepare proposals to capitalize on them.
- Keep management informed about the current business situation through detailed reports and presentations.
- Develop key metrics operational strategies and tools to enhance business efficiency.
- Create and improve incentive schemes for the field force to drive productivity and sales.
- Provide business recommendations and craft new strategies for business growth.
- Review and improve existing systems for cost-effectiveness and develop standard systems.
- Work closely with the Product team to manage and synchronize ERP system ensuring necessary developments and improvements.
- Ensure incentive realization by monitoring validating and tracking incentive payouts
- Assist the sales team in achieving sales targets by providing comprehensive reports and insights.
- Organize and maintain records of performance evaluations for the field force.
- Participate in budget (DB Level) planning and expense tracking for sales planning and capability development initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to cross-functional teams as needed including data collection analysis and reporting.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Experience:
- BBA/MBA in relevant fields from a reputed University
- At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Distribution Sales & Operations
- A blend of FMCG and Telco distribution sales experience is highly preferred
- Experience in sales planning/sales performance/incentive or KPI management-based roles at the head office level working closely with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders
