The position takes a lead role in providing exemplary front-line customer service and support to internal and external constituents and provides timely accurate and detailed information to prospective and current students to help the College reach its enrollment and HSI goals. The position must be able to answer complex questions using professional judgment and a strong working knowledge of all areas of the college including admissions financial aid and registration. The CSS Senior must be able to work in high-pressure high-volume situations and do so with minimal supervision. This position has direct responsibility for the processing of all regular undergraduate applications to the College which requires extensive knowledge of Minnesota State and Riverland policy and procedures technical skills and great attention to detail. This CSS Senior position is also responsible for implementing an acceptance and follow-up communication plan for applicants.
Salary Range:
$21.90 - $ 29.65 / $45727.00 - $61909.00
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of one year of Customer Service experience.
Proficiency in computer programs including MS Word Excel and Outlook.
Skill in data entry and the ability to check data for completeness accuracy and discrepancies.
Strong communication interpersonal and time management skills.
Preferred Qualification
Experience with ISRS ARSA Web Communication and document imaging.
Demonstrated skills in working under pressure and within time constraints/deadlines.
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of College Minnesota State Federal State and local laws rules policies and procedures pertaining to student data privacy FERPA and admissions.
Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish Somali Karen Anuak Nuer or other languages that reflect our student body workforce and communities.
Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
