The Department of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) provides premier graduate and undergraduate applied information technology education focused on and responsive to the unique technology management leadership and innovation needs of government government-related and corporate employers by producing graduates able to lead analyze design create justify implement and sustain new innovative IT-enabled processes.
About the Position:
The primary purpose of the Administrative Assistant is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Department including the Chair Associate and Assistant Chairs faculty administrative specialists and students in all aspects of their operations.
This is a temporary position for an initial6 months with the potential for renewal/extension.

The IST Administrative Assistant under the direction of the IST Chair Associate and Assistant Chairs and in collaboration with IST Administrative Specialists will be responsible for the following tasks:

The College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) at George Mason University is a fast-growing force for innovation in research and education. About the Future
