JOB SUMMARY:
The intern will gain hands-on experience and foundational knowledge in Planning Scheduling Project Controls and Project Management. The intern will collaborate closely with the Project Scheduling team to learn how they play an integral function within the overall project management team. This role provides valuable exposure to the tools techniques and best practices essential for ensuring the successful and timely delivery of projects contributing directly to project outcomes and organizational goals.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the Planning & Scheduling team by collaborating with Ride Show and Facility teams to gather updates on projects & statuses; actively participating in meetings by taking detailed notes updating project reports and schedules accordingly and conducting site progress walks with the team to monitor and assess project advancement.
- Reviews & analyzes contractor and vendor schedules.
- Assists with progress tracking and reporting functions.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Construction Management Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Architecture
- Introductory use of scheduling tools and software such as Primavera P6 Microsoft Project Navisworks Autodesk Microsoft Office/Teams Excel PowerPoint Bluebeam preferred.

- This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
