LEOMINSTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS

INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

DISTRICT-WIDE

Multilingual Student Support Book Studies

We are offering two small (9-10 participants each) book studies this summer focused on multilingual learners. Enrollment will be first come-first serve. Please read the book descriptions and note your first and second choice. Book studies are led by a moderator and run through the Google Classroom platform during July-August. The stipend for a book study is $200.00. Applicants may only participate in one book study. The book will be provided.

Book Study Responsibilities:

Timeframe: July 7th - August 10th 2025
Weekly reading and discussion boards (participants respond to the posted prompt and 2 responses to colleagues)
3-4 journal entries over 5 weeks
All discussions and journal entries must be completed by August 10th 2025 to earn the full $200 honorarium
Attendance and participation will be monitored
