How the Advisory Analyst contributes to the success of HB:


General Support

  • Supports senior team members by assisting in the creation of financial plans and helping prepare materials needed for client meetings and follow ups.
  • Develops expertise in financial planning and familiarity with developing financial plans for clients.

Analytical Support

  • Initially limited attendance at client meetings; takes wide-ranging notes.
  • Analyzes client information and prepares relevant reports and presentations.
  • Enters information into financial planning software and prepares draft plans with help from more experienced colleagues.
  • May sit on subcommittees in an administrative capacity.

Client Service

  • Answers basic questions for clients or fields client requests to appropriate colleagues.
  • Assists with client requests for transfers of funds in and out of accounts on an as-needed basis and works in concert with other advisory team members to complete client transactions.
  • Interfaces with the custodian to obtain information or account data and conveys service requests.
  • Maintains information in the CRM record-keeping system including meeting notes action items next steps etc.
  • Sets up and retrieves client reports in the portfolio management system.
  • Assists in generating portfolio performance reports reviewing quarterly reports and tax coordination.
Requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Client first attitude professional demeanor personal integrity and an understanding of fiduciary responsibility.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
  • Self-starter with high initiative.
  • Curious with the desire for continuous learning.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively in a team and build the trust and confidence of colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and a willingness to pitch in when necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university (required).
  • Demonstrated desire toward a Professional designation (ex. CFA CFP MBA) is preferred.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
