Job Description

Rome Health is seeking a HIM Clerk to join their team. Job duties may include but are not limited to:


Reconciliation prepping scanning indexing of discharged hospital records
Directing documents from fax tanks
Continuity of care release of information
Possible phone answering rotation
Assisting with logging of charts for destruction

This is a critical role in the HIM department and attention to detail is extremely important. Previous medical records experience is preferred. This candidate should be very comfortable with technology and utilizing several different systems to accomplish their work. Must be familiar with healthcare privacy and security regulations. High school diploma required. Associates degree and/or RHIT preferred.
