Job Description
Tamiami Ford is hiring an automotive pre-delivery inspection technician (PDI) This involves inspecting preparing and detailing vehicles before they are delivered to customers. PDI technicians ensure vehicles meet quality standards perform necessary adjustments and identify any defects.
Responsibilities of a PDI Technician:
- Inspecting Vehicles: Thoroughly checking vehicles for damage scratches and any defects.
- Preparing Vehicles: Removing protective coverings cleaning and detailing vehicles and ensuring they are ready for delivery.
- Adjustments and Repairs: Making necessary adjustments to vehicle features and performing minor repairs.
- Following Procedures: Adhering to manufacturer and dealership standards for PDI.
- Using Tools: Utilizing tools and inspection checklists.
