Job Description:
Special Education teachers nurses paraprofessionals and related service providers are needed for the Waltham Public Schools Special Education Extended School Year programs.
Qualified teachers site coordinators and related service provider applicants must be Massachusetts DESE licensed in moderate or severe special education and highly qualified in terms of subject matter knowledge and familiarity with the best practices in instruction for all students the state curriculum frameworks grade level benchmarks a variety of assessment strategies and techniques and must exhibit effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
Qualified paraprofessional applicants must have a high school diploma and demonstrate the ability to work with students under the direction of the teacher/nurse/or support staff support and reinforce the teachers expectations for students and be able to work with students on academic tasks assigned by the teacher.
Multiple Locations:
Compensation:
- Teachers related service providers and site coordinators $50/hour
- Paraprofessionals $32/hour
