The Clinical Manager - Home Health & Hospice is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. This position provides leadership and supervision to clinical staff oversees staffing and scheduling coordinates technical training and ensures efficient workflow processes. Additionally the Clinical Manager serves as the Director of Nursing (DON) in the absence of the Director of Home Health & Hospice.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in ND or compact RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Educational Requirements
Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Home Health Hospice or a related clinical setting.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
Special Skills or Training Requirements
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate clinical teams.
In-depth knowledge of Medicare Medicaid and other payer regulations related to home health and hospice services.
Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical documentation processes.
Strong problem-solving decision-making and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff patients families and external stakeholders .
