SLC now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Delivery Management (Enterprise Integration) to join us on a fixed-term basis for the next 12-24 months within the Technology Group here at SLC. In this role you will show excellence and champion the delivery management role leading the community of practice by building capability fostering excellence and ensuring the recruitment of the right people for the right teams. You will support professional development and continuous improvement within their community while overseeing the delivery of technology solutions across all channels of voice and customer operational technologies ensuring seamless integration and exceptional performance. A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of omni-channel environments you will possess excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in managing complex technology projects. You will collaborate with other heads of roles to drive effective cross-functional delivery acting as a skilled team leader who confidently communicates the value of the role to both digital and non-digital stakeholders while maintaining credibility and influence across departments. SLC offer a blended working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

What you bring:

• Degree-level qualification in computing engineering scientific or mathematical discipline (or equivalent industry experience) with proven change leadership capabilities to drive fundamental strategic transformation
• Extensive technical leadership experience managing delivery teams across multiple simultaneous work streams (10s to 1000s of person days) through full software development lifecycles in mission-critical environments
• Senior stakeholder management and line management expertise including mentoring teams managing budgets over 0.5m and reporting to executive level while developing agile cultures and practices
• Enterprise Architecture knowledge with ability to bridge business and technical strategy plus deep understanding of modern software development practices project/risk management and Agile methodologies
• API integration expertise including knowledge of API-led connectivity patterns proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for API design/management/deployment and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) for system integration
• Cloud and contact centre technology experience with Amazon Connect APIs AWS CCaaS solutions for contact centre setup/management and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Migration Hub for cloud workload migration
• Vendor management and delivery track record with experience defining commercial arrangements managing vendor performance and successfully delivering/integrating complex products and services in public or private sector environments
• Specialised technical experience in data transformation and mapping between systems Java runtime updates execution and Avaya IVR technology integration with enterprise-scale Agile framework development
