Job Description
JobResponsibilities
- Understand the structure of a pre-press file color space and requirements necessary for successful results.
- Attends any client meetings (e.g. pre-production) as necessary.
- Ensures accurate consistent and timely completion of high quality basic to intermediateor complex level Artwork effectively using industry standard software tools and Printtechniques.
- Create simple/basic 2D and/or 3D renders.
- 2D image manipulation packaging artwork and final product image.
- Meet quality standards for assigned deliverables and makes recommendations to Management for improvements in reports tools processes and assigned tasks.
- Works well in a dynamic speed-to-market focused team environment with a minimumsupervision
- Ability to prioritize workload proactively seek answers to questions and meet assigned deadlines
- Use internal MIS to record accurate data on personal production timings.
- Create strong and effective internal partnerships and collaborate across clients
- Make recommendations to Management for improvements in reports tools processesand assigned tasks.
- Able to work in rotational shifts
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (2 years) sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job.
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in appropriate disciplines such as Printing Technology Graphic Arts Advertising Interior Design or other related fields such as fine arts or fashion preferred.
- Previous experience in prepress graphic arts or related field in print manufacturing required
- The following are the base skills that every Production artist should have some ability in with a chosen specialty:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Acrobat
- Print Pre-Press knowledge
- Color Management knowledge
- RGB & CMYK
- Good people organizational and analytical skills:
- Communication: Good oral and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts tonon-technical audiences
- Attention to Detail: Good project management and organizational skills
- Team Work: Working well with others in teams to complete jobs
- Time Management: Manage workload in order to not miss deadlines.
- Problem Solving
- Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with peers client colleagues and external vendors/partners
- Previous experience usingMac OS; Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Word Excel and Powerpoint); Adobe Creative Suite(including of Bridge Photoshopand Illustrator) required.
