JOB SUMMARY:
The Team Member Experience intern will have the opportunity to create develop and execute engaging events and programs that influence the culture at Universal Creative. They will learn about the entire planning cycle of events from ideation to day-of logistics working with vendors and procuring products. They will learn the benefits of networking and workplace culture. The learning goal for this semester will be to learn how the impact of successful programs positively influences Team Members engagement and affects overall employee morale.
This Spring semester the specific responsibilities of the UC TMX intern will be to assist with event planning global UC programs and partnerships. Assisting with events like Remarkable Celebration HR Strategy Meeting Team Member Appreciation Week Earth Day and our spring DEI activations for Lunar New Year International Womens Day and more. Supporting the team on programs such as global mentoring orientation and pathfinder. Helping flourish partnerships for example confirming speakers and organizing presentations for the UCF Creative Lab. Actively seeking opportunities to learn about HR Practices and strategies participating in HR related training and development activities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance employee engagement through events.
- Collaborate with HR to create events that align with the organizations culture and values.
- Assists with support and planning of UC TMX partnership recruitment conferences and job fairs events.
- Supports the UCF Creative Lab partnership day of logistics.
- Verbal and/or graphics content to support events and programs.
- Update and upload TMX Resources SP site.
- Participate in meetings and assist with special projects.
- Recommend and create SOPs to improve department efficiency and overall functionality.
- Gain exposure to departments within HR through collaboration and departmental partnerships to learn about our organization.
- Manage event registrations RSVPs and attendance tracking.
- Assist with participant communication providing information about event details and logistics.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Human Resources Business Admin Hospitality Management Business Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast past environment managing multiple tasks
- Highly efficient in Microsoft suite applications
- Ability to interact seamlessly between multiple levels of the organization
- Familiarity with graphic design and/or SharePoint design

- This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
