Assists with instructional and behavioral management of youth in school under the supervision of a certificated staff RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Provides general assistance and support to teachers with both instructional and behavioral management duties and with the implementation of the Boys Town Education in-service workshops and training programs to improve knowledge and follow-up lessons that are initiated by students with assistance on in-class work with feedback on graded work and with corrections to class teachers in preparing student assignments in grading student work and when teaching to large groups of students during non-instructional concern and respect for individual students and assumes responsibility for the academic and social skills growth of each for student health and well-being during the school day and serves as a role model by exhibiting skills taught in the school SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to successfully teach and present material to of regulatory requirements pertaining to youth skills in Microsoft to communicate in an articulate professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of of the Boys Town to adapt responses to situations while maintaining procedural and regulatory QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalent experience preferably in a school or youth care environment Duties: This job description incorporates the essential functions and duties required for this position. Work is typically in a normal educational school administrative environment but may be performed in a variety of environments ranging from highly stressful and potentially aggressive (physical interventions escorts etc.) to casual and leisurely in both indoor and outdoor settings. While performing the duties of this job may be subject to outside weather conditions occasionally. Includes constant interruptions inappropriate behaviors and the potential for verbal and physical threats from youth.
