Job Summary

Job Title: RTI Paraprofessional

Work Days: School calendar term 7 hours per day

Reports To: Building Administrator and Certified Staff

REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent

JOB SUMMARY: Works directly with the classroom teachers to provide instructional support of the teacher by administering interventions with a small group of students.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works with students in association with and other the direct supervision of a teacher

or principal

Train to administer interventions with students
May assist with one-to-one tutoring small group follow-up work with students
Provides lunchroom supervision and assistance and playground supervision as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Climate Environment: The school may be climate controlled and possibly not. There may be outside duty so weather conditions may be a factor.
Hazards: This position is working with many people. Weather conditions may be a factor with duty as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit stand and walk without fatigue or discomfort. Be able to lift and carry 25 pounds and be able to pull or push 50 pounds.
