Location:This is a full-time remote position working (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00am 5:00pm.
What You Will Do:
Utilize experience and knowledge to create underwriting for all Pharmacy Proposals including new business and renewals by analyzing each clients drug utilization and cost to determine the optimum strategy to maximize client savings and the companys pharmacy revenue.
Review and analyze data including Excel-based pricing and financial models for opportunities received from pharmacy benefit managers health plans and/or health care consultants.
Communicates and collaborates with other lines of business LOBs (at all levels of the organization) in other functional areas including finance reporting operations business development and sales to ensure pharmacy underwriting coincides with their respective marketing strategies.
Gathers summarizes and analyzes detailed data. Makes recommendations to senior management.
To Qualify for This Position You Will Need The Following:
Required Education: Bachelors.
Minimum Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of experience in data gathering and analysis with at least one (1) year of experience in pharmacy underwriting.
Minimum Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational customer service oral and written communication skills.
Excellent mathematical analytical and critical thinking skills.
Good judgment.
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Proficient spelling punctuation and grammar.
Extensive knowledge of underwriting and risk principles and their application.
Minimum Required Software and Other Tools:Microsoft Office
