The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Supervisor plans organizes and manages the plants Manufacturing Engineering function for the Professional Tools Elyria Manufacturing Plant. This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. This role ensures effective day-to-day engineering support for production drives continuous improvement initiatives and supports process stability quality and cost efficiency.
The ME Supervisor effectively manages the balance between tactical production support with proactive process improvements across multiple production areas. Also they are expected to facilitate the Engineering Change (EC) process as well as support capital and strategic improvement projects as possible.
