The Role:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager the Junior Accountant will work closely with the business managing accounts receivable in a timely and efficient manner.
The role is also a link between retail stores and finance through managing the sales reconciliations process.
- Management of overdue debtors including correspondence and follow-up with customers
- Organising and attending monthly debtor meetings with Wholesale Team
- Monitoring of creditor balances and where necessary placing customers on order and delivery block and setting up of customer payment plans
- Manage and reconcile store accounts
- supports the management accountant and the finance analyst where required
- understanding and adhering to Company operational and audit requirements
Your profile:
- Accounting Degree or equivalent university qualification
- A degree in CA / CPA qualified or studying towards (Desirable)
- At least two years Junior Accountant or Accounts Administration
- Excellent communication skills with a track record in building and maintaining relationships
- Strong knowledge in MS Excel
- Experience using SAP is highly desired
